This is my first regroupment of songs, which I can qualify as my first project as well. It all started back in the year 1997 until 2003 if I remember well. I think that only "Under the Concrete" come from the earliest year. You can hear "Recolo" as well in mp3 format, where the sound quality is atrocious. Some songs were recorded but this album I keep for a better moment, to get a fine recording job on it and produce it with the dignity it deserves.
Chronus Aion Phanes means everything as the very beginning of the world and its creation. Chronus Aion is, in the greek mythology, the god of time, and he hatched the "world egg". From this egg, Phanes was born, his son, who would be the creator god, god of light.

This is my first fully recorded project. A tribute to my most significant ex-girlfriend that has changed many things in my life. A very psychadelic and even thought, incoherent album. There is absolutely no drums playing onto these songs and they all have the same length of 5:01 minutes. A small eight songs project but worth the listening, even if the sound quality is awful. Here I offer the best compositions of the album to download.
Hermes' Herald goes for that thing in my life which happened to reveal a new path and which I didn't know at the moment. Ironically, Hermes is the messager of gods in greek mythology, and a herald is an announcement of presage. I called it so.

That is the first album I distributed among the people I know. Couple more than a dozen, not much but still a beginning. With an extreme progressive approach, this album catches the listener, as with its overwhelming complexity, can also travel into a nice ambient music. There are great compositions on this album, but again the sound quality is poor, better than the project before, still I had this lack of knowledge and experience in sound manipulation. Bonus track was made after but before the completion of the project, as it sounds a bit more like "Chaos to Mora" project.
Aequalis Pan. Pan, being the god of music, still in greek mythology, but as well as the god of the shepherds, which brings me to the theory of "Leaders and Followers" that I have adapted after something many of us knows, but lack of understanding. There were real and fake leaders that ruled the world. Power doesn't establish you as a leader, only thoughts will.

Again, another one of a kind. That is the first project I produced with an auxiliary compagny, as for printings, burning, wrapping, etc. It is still in distribution, at a small cost, and yet, is a very great album from the comments I got. A very smooth sound, relaxing but sometimes more aggressive. Still makes great ambient music, especially for that bonus track. Again, but not like the past project, this track was made way before this project has begun. It influenced the project's name as well.
Chaos to Mora is a simple hierarchic logical constatation. Chaos being the god of infinite space, or the void. Mora is a latin word, which means a space of time. It is an impartial law that there is a need of time before space. But, you also need infinite space to define a space of time. |

My last project, that is completly written and ready to record. I am hoping to get this project to the state of a product and hit the shelves. I will make good use of everything I know to make this recording better than all other projects. It has a much more simplist approach, with a still metal background and a glimpse of psychadelism. This is more modern-like but with my progressive touch. Somethings I can't wait to produce but knowing the hard work that awaits me, I have to make new record test and so on.
Vestasimplex is some kind of invented word. Vesta being the greek goddess of the hearts and simplex is a latin word that means simple. Simple hearted. That is how simply I made the link and how I see this project overall feeling. |
